UNIBLEND presented innovative improvers at the BAKERY conference “Bakery Business 2026”

On February 5 in Kyiv, one of the most important industry events of the year took place — the BAKERY “Bakery Business 2026” conference. UNIBLEND, a leading Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of bakery mixes and improvers, became an active participant of the forum, presenting technological solutions to today’s market challenges.

Transformation and Scaling

This year’s forum program focused on finding new development strategies amid global transformations. Industry experts highlighted significant changes in consumption patterns throughout 2024–2025. One of the key trends was the rapid growth in demand for mass-market bread products, particularly rye varieties, whose market share reached 55%.

Under these conditions, the manufacturer’s main task is no longer simply producing bread, but ensuring consistent quality, outstanding taste, and long-lasting freshness.

UNIBLEND Innovative Solutions

Understanding that the right choice of technological additives is the foundation of a successful production process, UNIBLEND presented its updated line of improvers.

Particular attention from industry professionals was drawn to our flagship product — “Uni Long Fresh Rye.” This improver with an enhanced formula was specially developed for rye and rye-wheat bread varieties. Among the key advantages of this innovative product are improved structural and mechanical properties of the dough, enhanced authentic aroma and flavor of rye bread, and extended softness retention, allowing manufacturers to expand their sales geography and minimize product returns.

Individual Approach

In addition to presenting standard product innovations, UNIBLEND representatives also spoke about the possibilities of creating targeted custom blends.

“Flexibility and rapid adaptation to market demands are what we guarantee to every client. We create unique products tailored to the specific tasks and technical capabilities of each individual production facility,” emphasized Serhii Tsekhmistrenko, Director of UNIBLEND.
